IMPORTANT UPDATE PLEASE READ
Following our recent notifications in relation to the above matter. We provide you below with reminders and updates.
As you are aware, the existing swipe card for the pedestrian gate, main vehicle gate and underground car park (if applicable) will be changing from swipe and code access to a Fob Access System in Custom House Harbour Apartments, this system will go live Wednesday 26th April 2023.
After this date access will only be possible with the Fobs and there will be no access available with swipe card or code access.
The new system will be a significant improvement to the security of the apartment complex. The purpose of the changeover from coded gates to fobs has been introduced due to the history of unauthorised trespass into the apartment complex. Damage to property etc.
Three fobs are available for each apartment owner. These are available to be collected from Brendan at the Caretaker’s Office during the following times and will need to be signed for on collection: –
- Monday to Friday 8am till 1pm
Tenants must contact the owners of the property who then may nominate someone to collect their access fob(s). As these are security the property owner must email the dedicated email address accesscards.irl@apleona.com and advise their apartment number and the name of the person that they are nominating to collect their access fob(s). The nominated person will then be able to call to the caretaker’s office directly and collect the access fob(s). When collecting the access fob(s) from the caretaker the person, they will need to provide the caretaker with identification.
Owners requesting additional Access Fob(s) may do so by email to the following dedicated email address accesscards.irl@apleona.com which can be provided for a charge of €15.00 per fob. Authority for Access Fob(s) will only be passed to the caretaker when notified by email from the owner. Please ensure that arrangements are made well in advance for fob(s) to be obtained. The Managing Agents or the Management Company will not be held responsible for any occupiers or owners who do not have fob(s) to access the pedestrian gate, main vehicle gate and underground car park (if applicable).
If any owners wish the fobs to be posted same can be sent by registered post upon email request to accesscards.irl@apleona.com and this will incur a charge of €9.50 which can be added to your service charge account. Fobs will not be put into the general post or left in letter boxes.
Please note Access Fob(s) cannot be requested by tenants, it must be the registered owner of the property. Apleona will not accept any phone calls for Access Fob(s).
